Caroline Wardropper BSc (Hons) MA (Cantab) MBAcC Traditional Acupuncturist
My first experience of acupuncture came when I had severe lower back pain, a prolapsed disk and sciatica! A work college suggested I try some acupuncture to help with the pain, I must admit I was sceptical. However, the acupuncture took away the pain, helped my recovery and got me back to work. I was hooked and decided to give up my career and retrain, the rest is history!
I spent 3 years studying traditional acupuncture at the Northern College of Acupuncture, and I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I have been in practice since 2015.
I previously studied Biochemistry at Cambridge University then worked for 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry so have an in-depth knowledge of both western medicine and Chinese medicine.
I run a general practice and can help with a wide range of conditions, I do have a special interest in gynecology, fertility and IVF assistance.
My interest in fertility started when I saw the challenges some of my family and friends experienced when trying to conceive. I am delighted to also work at Reproductive Health Group with some of the country’s leading fertility experts. Helping my patients to achieve their dreams of having a child is the best part of my job.
My aim is to make the time you spend in my clinic a positive experience by providing a calm, relaxing and supportive environment.
Traditional acupuncture is a healthcare system based on ancient principles which go back nearly two thousand years.
